Welcome to Tablà, above Naturno, in our traditional hotel surrounded by peace and quiet. For three generations we have been running our
little family hotel with love and passion. We are especially proud of our beautiful 200-year-old Stube: here, where the grandfather clock
ticks slowly, there is plenty of room for cozy moments.

After a restful sleep in our comfortable rooms, in the morning we greet you with a sunny smile and a delicious breakfast.
And in the evening we spoil you with a varied menu of South Tyrolean specialities.

In our large, well-kept garden with swimming pool and Swiss stone pine sauna you can easily leave behind the daily routine. Immerse yourself in the refreshing pool water, read your favourite book relaxing in the deckchair and let the surrounding nature inspire you… Have you packed your suitcase yet? In our big and welcoming garden you can feel good all day long, enjoying peace and quiet and forgetting the daily routine.

And in the evening you can relax with your loved ones, toasting your holiday with a tasty aperitif… Just the perfect conclusion to a perfect day - Cheers!

The taste of tradition

This is how we keep tradition alive in our kitchen.

We love to pamper your palate - from the rich breakfast buffet in the morning to the tasty delights from our Alpine-Mediterranean cuisine in the evening. Our fresh ingredients come directly from our vegetable garden, from our poppy fields, from our apple and apricot trees and from our herb garden.
What we do not harvest ourselves, we get from local farmers.

Breakfast

Gentle bird chirping and inviting coffee scent: this is how a new day begins at our Hotel Weißes Kreuz in Naturno!

Where do you prefer to have breakfast? In the bright and large dining room, on the light-flooded veranda or on our terrace, wrapped in early morning light?

Take a seat and enjoy a varied selection of crispy rolls, seasonal fruit, homemade cakes, fresh egg dishes, tasty
cheese and cold cuts and much more.
Every morning we want to put a smile on your lips!

Dinner

Fresh herbs from the garden, hearty speck dumplings, sweet apple strudel… that’s what our Stube smells like.

Every evening we spoil you with a 4-course menu of South Tyrolean dishes with Mediterranean notes. To start the dinner, there’s a delicious, fresh salads.

All our dishes are prepared by mom and are characterized by their authenticity. Of course, for the preparation of our culinary creations we only use fresh, regional products and ingredients.

HIKING – Up to the top!

Backpack ready? Then let’s put on our walking boots and hike to the wonderful Gruppo di Tessa Nature Park! Do you prefer to pleasantly walk in the valley, among blooming apple orchards, or to hike up a little higher to the beautiful canal trails (Waalwege) that lead along the hillsides of the Monte Sole? Expert mountaineers can conquer the numerous mountain peaks of the nature park.

Our hiking tips:
  • Canal trails: Walk on beautiful paths that run historic irrigation canals and lead you through thick forests and lush green meadows. Close to our hotel the Ciardes and the Stava Waalweg paths lead you to Ciardes in Val Venosta passing by the beautiful Juval Castle.

  • Multi-day tour on the Merano High Mountain Trail: With its 90 km long path, this high mountain trail surrounds a large part of the Gruppo di Tessa. It is one of the most beautiful alpine hiking trails ever and offers stunning panoramic views of mountains and valley. Thanks to the cable car connections on the route, you can also take a one-day tour on the Merano High Mountain Trail. In this case, our hotel offers an ideal stopover for the night. Our walking tip for you: From Tablà take the direct bus connection to the Val Senales and walk comfortably back.

  • Alpine pasture hike on the Monte Tramontana: Along rustic mountain huts, wide alpine meadows and shady forests: on the Monte Tramontana there are many beautiful hiking trails. How about a hiking tour to the idyllic Zirmtal Lake? Or maybe to the Monte San Vigilio with its breathtaking panoramic views of the Val d’Adige?

BIKE – Ready, steady… bike!

The bike paradise on earth: that’s Naturno with its beautiful cycle paths. While leisure bikers explore nature on easy cycle paths, surrounded by green meadows, racing cyclists climb the passes on two wheels and MTB fans ride up the mountains passing along alpine pastures and rustic huts. Those who want to improve their biking skills, can train at the Ötzi-Bike-Academy in Naturno.

Our bike tour tips:
  • Etsch-Radweg: The 80-km-long route runs along the Adige River, from the Passo Resia to Merano, and is one of the most beautiful cycle paths in the entire Alpine region! By the way: From Naturno the bike shuttle will comfortably take you to Glorenza or Curon, from where you can cycle back down the valley.

  • Tour on the Monte Sole in Naturno: From Naturno we cycle uphill to Innerforch on the Monte Sole passing by the Naturno Castle. On the way back, we pass along Unterstell. The 17,8 km-long bike trail has an altitude differential of 940 m.

  • Ötzi Trail: A tour for professional bikers, since they have to master almost 15 km and an altitude differential of more than 1.300 m! From our hotel you pass by the sports field towards the Monte Tramontana to reach the Mausloch Alm mountain hut at 1,835 m, the highest point of the tour. The way back takes you to Naturno through suggestive alpine meadows.

CULTURE – South Tyrol and its stories

Fancy a trip into the past?
In Naturno and surroundings there are many cultural attractions to discover: from well-preserved medieval manors and castles to fascinating museums, traditional mountain farms, beautiful churches and much more – all surrounded by a breathtaking mountain scenery!

Our cultural tips:
  • Prokulus church in Naturno: This picturesque little church with frescoes from the 7th century is one of the most important cultural monuments in South Tyrol! The adjacent museum next door is also worth a visit.

  • Juval Castle: This medieval castle is the summer residence of the famous mountaineer Reinhold Messner. It also hosts one of South Tyrol‘s Messner Mountain Museums with several art collections, such as a Tibetan and an ethnic mask collection.

  • Discover Val Venosta: Beautiful castles, crystal clear lakes and the smallest town in South Tyrol: the Val Venosta valley has a lot to offer! Our cultural tips for you: Castel Coira in Sluderno with its large armoury, the Monte Maria Monastery with various exhibitions, the famous marble quarries in Lasa, the idyllic town of Glorenza and – last but not least – the Lake Resia with its submerged steeple.

Guests under 14 years are exempt from paying the tourist tax.

On the day of arrival the rooms are available from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
On the day of departure we ask you to leave the room by 10 a.m.

Terms of payment:
The total amount will be charged directly in the hotel.
For online bookings a credit card is required. To check the validity of your credit card we temporarily charge an amount of 0,11 €.

Cancellation conditions:
For cancellations made up to 31 days before the date of arrival, no additional fee will be charged.
For cancellations within 30 to 15 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total booking will be charged.
For cancellations within 14 days prior to arrival, 100% of the total booking will be charged.

Pets are not allowed in our hotel.
